Terms of Service

By using PromptShield you agree:

1. Reasonable use. Don't abuse the API. Per-second rate limits and per-month quotas apply.
2. Defense in depth. PromptShield reduces but does not eliminate prompt-injection risk. Use it as one layer of a defense-in-depth strategy. No security tool is 100% effective and we make no warranty against all possible attacks.
3. Attribution welcome, not required. If you publish about PromptShield's detection results, link back to promptshield.dev if it's useful — never required.
4. No reverse-engineering for evasion. Don't use PromptShield to test attacks against PromptShield itself for the purpose of crafting evasions intended to be sold or weaponized.
5. Liability cap. Aggregate liability for any claim is capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months.
6. Data. See privacy policy for data handling. No-logging mode available on Pro tier.
7. Termination. Either party may terminate at any time. Refunds prorated for paid tiers.
